History: Time to re-evaluate the legacy of forgotten germline exposures?
These mothers of children with autism and other neurodevelopmental abnormalities all have one thing in common: circa 1960s in-utero exposures to endocrine-disrupting pharmaceutical drugs, none of which had been tested for molecular impacts on oocytes, which develop while the female is in the womb (a girl is born with all her eggs).
